PJ Gubatina Policarpio

PJ Gubatina Policarpio is a creative arts engager: curator, programmer, and educator. He brings passion and commitment in making art accessible for everyone, creating multiple opportunities for meaningful connections between people and artworks, especially addressing a diverse, multilingual, and multicultural audience. Central to his practice is promoting inclusivity and cultural understanding through experiences and interactions with art. At Queens Museum, PJ regularly teaches school groups and recently created an Educator's Guide to engaging multilingual students published on ArtMuseumTeaching.com, weaving together his strength in multimodal teaching strategies, culturally responsive pedagogy, and his own multilingual immigrant upbringing.
