Erin Hylton is a cultural organizer, social justice advocate, mentor, and artist who proudly hails from the Bronx, New York and currently works as School Programs Coordinator at The Studio Museum in Harlem. Her academic focus is on the importance of the arts to students, with special focus on those with special needs, and she is completing her Masters in Special Education with a concentration in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Studies. In her personal time she works on her blogs, artedgenyc.com and erintravels.com, and collaborates with other cultural organizers in New York City and abroad creating events, articles, and presenting at conferences.
