One of the major intersections a museum has with the local community is through school visits. This workshop shines a light on the variety of challenges that teachers in K-12, university, and for-profit educational programs face when booking class trips to museums and cultural institutions. After a brief presentation on some common hurdles for school-based educators, participants will work in small groups to tackle some common challenges and discuss ways that they and their institutions can better connect with educators and engage with a wider variety of school audiences.
