Many museum education departments across New York City experiment with the incorporation of digital tools into innovative and engaging learning programs. This session brings together several of these organizations to offer the first ever NYCMER Digital Playground. In an exhibithall style set-up, come learn about digital tools being explored across the city, explore what these digital tools afford for museum-based learning, speak with the educators innovating the future, and experiment with the technology yourself. Check out the latest in augmented reality, mobile game design, telepresence robotics, and more.
