Taking place in the Morgan Library galleries, highly skilled access educators, who represent a range of institutions, will provide brief demonstrations of engaging specific access audiences through facilitated object-based learning. This session will model best practices for educating visitors who are blind or partially sighted, individuals with dementia and their caregivers, adults who are deaf or who have hearing loss, and children and adults who have developmental disabilities including autism. Following each example, presenters will explain their methods and teaching techniques. There will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and discuss strategies at the conclusion.
