We want: to know what teens want and their opinions; and to provide teens with avenues to develop leadership roles and planning skills. Join us as we explore youth councils, committees and advisory groups – programs at the intersection of youth participants and adult staff. Panelists represent a variety of institutions, sizes, purposes, and stages of development. Each will briefly describe their group and tackle a few big issues before we split the room up, and help you think about your own. Participants will leave with a resource packet with tips and best practices, and opportunities for partnerships and continued support.
