This experimental session explores the relationship between intersecting communities vital to public programs through role-play. Take the position of an internal or external stakeholder and examine program development through multiple lenses alongside peers. Explore in small group discussions a variety of perspectives contributing to the “final product” and examine the nexus of public interest and institutional mission. Discover ways to integrate and balance the programming requirements of multi-department organizations in relation with the needs and wishes of a great diversity of participants at public programs. Consider the competing and or compatible interests of all the players involved in bringing public programs to life.
